Acta Soteriana International Studies Quartery

Soter School of International Relations and Informatics, - soon to be accredited Hungarian institute of higher education - is launching a new academic journal named ACTA SOTERIANA International Studies Quarterly, with the particular aim to accommodate the works of Hungarian and international authors in the field of international and foreign relations, international law and other closely relating multidisciplinary areas. By its launch, the publisher’s intent is to form an internationally recognized forum for the academic community. Contributions will come from a wide range of intellectual traditions, and cover both theoretical and policy-oriented research on foreign policy, comparative politics, and international affairs. The journal will hope to encourage interdisciplinary debate, publishing articles that address important questions and controversies concerning international, cross-national, or trans-national phenomena.

ACTA SOTERIANA would be circulating and distributed not only in the Central European region but on larger scales according to plans. Copies will be sent to prominent European and North American Universities, research centers and workshops in exchange for local periodicals of similar kind. Issues will accommodate studies in English, French, German and Hungarian languages all with abstracts and resumes in English. Beside publishing original articles and reviews, the periodical will feature indexes and outlines of field related new resources printed in the international community.

According to plans, the academic journal will later include special thematic issues dedicated to selected topics published both in English and in French. ACTA SOTERIANA is determined to function not only as a surface voice of the academia, but also as a scientific workshop sponsoring and hosting seminars and conferences on international topics.

We firmly believe, that ACTA SOTERIANA could became a channel for both prominent and younger professionals, researchers, and teachers to appear and be heard globally, while providing a opportunity to acquire the necessary publicity needed to qualify for doctoral degrees or to fulfill academic (institutional) criteria to publish works.
